| Frédéric-Eugène Piat (1827 Montfey - 1903 Paris), French sculptor-ornamentist and Samuel Marti & Cie, clockmaker. Exceptional pendulum in bronze with a few seated Nubian figures. This imposing pendulum was most likely presented at the Paris World's Fair in 1867 or 1878. An identical pendulum can be found at the Henry B. Plant Museum, Tampa, Florida. LXVI style. Circa 1860-1870. |
